While Daily Mail claims the images were taken on Valentine’s Day (Friday), People reports the outing was on Thursday. The two stars appeared overwhelmed by a swarm of fans during their night out and graciously stopped to chat and take photos with several people in the small crowd.
Both wore casual looks for the evening out. The “Knives Out” actress styled a pair of blue denim jeans with a black blazer. She added a pair of gold ballet pumps to complete her ensemble.
Meanwhile, Cruise wore a grey polo shirt and a navy suit.
The stars exited the restaurant with two bags of food in hand before sharing a taxi ride together.
Sources shared that the actor met the songstress at Glastonbury music festival before their friendship turned romantic.
He also allegedly invited Canal onto the set of “Mission: Impossible 8” in Oxfordshire — something he rarely ever does, according to crew members.
